Cara the Cat Pt.4 FINAL PART

Jane put me down and sighed a sad sigh. "Fine I'll take her to the shelter." she said in a sad, disappointed tone. "Good now go!" Darren exclaimed. I've heard about these shelter places, and from what I've heard I don't like it. I'd rather be with Jane and her jerk husband than in a shelter. Jane got me in her car than she hopped in smiling. I wondered why she was smiling? We were on the road for about ten minutes then I saw the sign and the main entrance for the shelter, and I thought well this is it goodbye plain alley cat life, and life with Jane and rude Darren, goodbye. Just when I was about to say goodbye to one more thing Jane passed the shelter, and we arrived at this random house in a small neighborhood. Jane picked me up, and hopped out of the car. She then walked up the driveway and rang the doorbell. A slightly tall skinny blonde brunette with long hair in a messy bun answered the door. "Hey Jane what are you doing here this late?" she asked. "Would you be interested in taking this cat she has no home and is starving to death, freezing cold." Jane replied. The woman standing inside took a good long time to answer. "Christy please, you're my best friend." Jane said anxiously. So apparently the other woman's name is Christy. "Well okay I have always wanted a cat. How much?" Christy said. "No she's free." Jane laughed. Oh okay thanks." Christy also laughed. So apparently Christy is gonna be my new owner, and I'm okay with that. She looks nice. "What's her name?" Christy asked. "I don't know you name her." Jane replied. "Hmmmm." Christy was thinking. After a while she finally said something. "How about Cara." She said "I like it" Jane replied. THE END
